Summer 2009
Message from the President
Alaska has a significant homeless population--some in emergency shelters, many on the streets. Continuum of Care (CoC) plans to deliver housing and services to the homeless, while CIHA supports local organizations that provide immediate services to those in need.
The CIHA Homelessness Partners
CIHA supports several key community partners who provide the homeless community with critical assistance, education and guidance towards permanent housing. See the results of our efforts.

Building Green at Creekside Village
Energy-efficient, 5-Star Plus homes are coming to Clearwater Village at Creekside, with many homes to be completed by the end of this summer. In partnership with The Petersen Group, CIHA is once again demonstrating an emphasis on attractive architecture, reduced energy costs and creating a neighborhood with community.
Shaping Our Community

In the Works
Demolition and development are on the summer schedule for Mountain View, while a new 59-unit senior housing is expected to begin construction and several senior housing properties will be upgraded.
